The 19th “Parthenium Awareness Week” program was organized on 21st August 2024 at 2:30 PM near the KVK campus of the institute to raise awareness about the importance of eradicating Parthenium weed, which causes health hazards to animals, humans, and environmental biodiversity, and its role in the transmission of TSV disease in cotton. Dr. Y.G. Prasad, Director of ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research, along with Heads of Division, scientists, and all staff of ICAR-CICR, Nagpur, participated in the event.
